Formerly known as Tangle Toys, Tangle Creations started over 27 years ago as a toy company based on Richard X. Zawitz’s Statue of Infinity. The Original Tangle was designed as a smaller version of the statue, and based on the Tibetan infinite knot. It was built for creative play at home or at the office, and people who used it were drawn to the twistable energy and magical sensation they found by the turning, curving motions it made. While it is still available to order, the company has expanded and evolved to target several new market niches.

Tangle Creations now delights and serves over 3,000 customers around the world, selling over 100 million units worldwide with products in toys, electronics, therapy, pet, inflatable, educational, premium, promotional and sports. International sales have also grown significantly, with special licensed products developed for Nickelodeon charters like Sponge Bob and Dora the Explorer, the Beijing 2008 Olympics and most recently, the launch of an Italian furniture line called Tangle Infinity. 

Tangle may be best known for its partnerships with major brands including, Slinky, Mattel, Nickelodeon, McDonald’s and MOMA. However, the near future will introduce several new and exciting Tangle products, including Tangleonia, an animated Tangle-structured superhero and a expanded line of Tangle Educational products that include the Tangle in Schools Activity book for use in schools Pre-K – 6^th grade.

While Tangle has, over the years, developed into a highly diverse organization with a huge variety of products, their company objectives have, for the most part, remained the same.  The mission of Tangle is that all individuals, regardless of gender or age, become creative and experience the joy of this process and state of mind.
